The Broads Authority has been awarded funding for a European project CANAPE (Creating a New Approach to Peatland Ecosystems). It is funded by the INTERREG North Sea programme, and focuses on the development of new methods for peatland ecosystems. The partnership comprises fourteen partners situated in 5 Member States (Netherlands, Denmark, Belgium, Germany and the UK).
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual with a variety of skills to act as Project Manager for the CANAPE project, for which the Broads Authority is the lead beneficiary.
The role is responsible for project planning, management and progress monitoring. The Project Manager will assure the timely completion of project deliverables and the completion of progress reports and payment claims. This role will require close collaboration with all project partners and the management of key stakeholder relationships.
You will know when to dig for details while primarily working at the high level and be confident with budgets. A proven team worker with strong personal motivation, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to create systems and processes for effective monitoring and reporting.
Applicants should be educated to degree level (or equivalent) and have excellent experience in project management, including financial management skills.
