The Broads Environmental Education Network (BEEN) was set up to promote learning about the Broads.
More than 40 organisations are part of BEEN from education bodies to wildlife charities and from local businesses to visitor attractions, all with a common goal to improve people's understanding of this special place.
The group has been involved in the development of a 'Broads Curriculum', a series of online education packages for schools encompassing a wide variety of themes. These are intended to assist teachers in delivering objectives from the National Curriculum. Elements of them can also be delivered by partners to local schools throughout the Broads.
