New Development Management Policies for Broads Authority

homepage-imageThe Broads Authority is inviting residents, local businesses and organisations to give their views on new draft planning policies that will be used to determine future planning applications in the Broads.

From June 7th the Authority is consulting on policies that cover such things as new development, flood risk, community facilities, climate change, design and re-use of historic buildings.

All comments made will be considered by the Authority’s members before revised draft planning policies are submitted to the Government later in the year.

The draft policies and information on how to comment are available on the Authority’s website at www.broads-authority.gov.uk, at libraries, District Council offices and at Dragonfly House.

The closing date for comments is the 16th July 2010.
