New Wayfarer dinghies given to train young people

The Broads Authority hands over five brand new Wayfarer sailing dinghies to the Norfolk Schools Sailing Association (NSSA) at a Family Fun Day at Filby Broad on Saturday 28 June, 11.00am.

Second chance to train as a reed and sedge cutter

Focus On

Focus On Private Bill Planning Applications - From 28 March 2008 the Authority is using only the Standard National Planning Application Form (1APP) for the submission of planning applications. 1APP has been developed by the Government and will be compulsory for all Local Planning Authorities from 6 April 2008. The forms are designed to be completed online or printed out to complete by hand. The Planning pages provide links to the Planning Portal for electronic submissions and electronic forms.

The Norfolk and Suffolk Broads is Britain's largest protected wetland and third largest inland waterway, with the status of a national park. It's also home to some of the rarest plants and animals in the UK. The Broads Authority was set up in 1989, with responsibility for conservation, planning, recreation and waterways.
