Boat fire at Sutton

Please be aware that following a boat fire, there is a sunken vessel immediately downstream of the Broads Authority’s 24-hour mooring at Sutton. Broads Authority Rangers attended, along with the Fire Service, and have placed pollution control booms around the vessel to minimise the impact in the surrounding area.

Vessels can still navigate along this stretch and access the mooring, however, please exercise care when navigating in the area and ensure that your boat wash is kept to a minimum. We are working to remove the vessel as soon as possible.
