Visiting

More than seven million visitors come to the Broads every year, attracted by all it offers.

Whether you are exploring by land, water or both, there is plenty to do for all ages. Pretty towns and villages dot the landscape and, with Norwich on the doorstep, the Broads is the only member of the national parks family to embrace a city with all the history, cultural activities and shopping opportunities that brings.

To see our events programme and book onto our events please visit our Eventbrite Page.

If you have a business in the Broads, find out here about Visit the Broads, the destination management organisation for the Broads.

If you are planning on flying a drone in your visit to the Broads please make sure you read our drone use policy.

Broadcaster Magazine

A cover of the 2025 edition of Broadcaster Magazine, with a painting of a brown-coloured hare against a vibrant and colourful blue backround

Each year we produce a visitor magazine called Broadcaster that is full of information and advice, including ideas for days out, tips on water safety and news from the Broads. It contains everything visitors need to know to have a fantastic time here in the Broads, whether they are exploring by boat, bike, paddle or on foot.

Broadcaster is produced by the Broads Authority working in conjunction with Visit the Broads. We also work with lots of other partner businesses and organisations to showcase local boatyards, pubs, restaurants, attractions, events and more.

It is available free from our visitor centres, alternatively you can browse the digital version of Broadcaster or read our selection of visitor info, news and other articles from Broadcaster. We also have a large print copy (available soon) if you require a more accessible version.

If you would like to find out about paid advertising in future editions of Broadcaster, please contact Countrywide Publications on 01502 725800 or sales@micropress.co.uk.
