Urgent - Sunken vessel near Polkey's Mill on River Yare

Update 07 December - Our Rangers believe they have now located the sunken vessel however it is on the River Yare Upstream of Polkey's Mill (not on the New Cut as previously reported to Rangers). The obstruction is deep in the water in the channel and has been marked with yellow buoys.

The navigation remains open but please give plenty of room and exercise great care & caution if travelling nearby. Rangers will continue to search the original area reported to double-check for any other hazards.

We have been made aware of a sunken vessel in the vicinity of Haddiscoe New Cut (Reedham end).

Rangers have been tasked with hazard marking as soon as possible.
