Our search portal, called Public Access, allows you to follow the progress of your planning application.
You can also find details of applications made by others, including supporting documents which have been sent to our planning service.
Public Access search portal
With the Public Access portal you can:
- Monitor the progress of an application and be notified by email of changes or updates
- Submit comments about an application
- See a list of applications submitted and decided each week
- See whether an appeal has been lodged and any appeal decisions
- Save searches and be emailed about a new application
- Check whether an appeal has been lodged and any appeal decisions
- View details of historic applications
- View property details by reference to a map.

Copyright Notice
Planning application documents submitted to the Broads Authority are protected by the Copyright Acts (Section 47, 1988 Act). You may only use material which is downloaded and/or printed for consultation purposes, to compare current applications with previous schemes and to check whether developments have been completed in accordance with approved plans. Further copies must not be made without the prior permission of the copyright owner, the applicant, agent and architect.
Comments
Please note that any representations submitted using the 'Comments' facility will be made publicly available (including to the applicant and their agent) and that confidential representations cannot be taken into account by the Broads Authority.
